national association of child contact centres contact us links donate now lostparents members sign up shop like us follow us find a centre get help volunteer open a centre lostparents what we do safe referral system newsletter standards keeping children in touch with parents following separation more than a million children have no contact whatsoever with one or other parent after separation. unfortunately some children experience behavioural issues including antisocial behaviour, distress, unhappiness, and both physical and emotional problems. the naccc is the only charity in the uk dedicated to solving this problem, by providing safe spaces where children can meet the parents they don't live with. we oversee around 400 contact centres across the uk, run by a network of nearly 4000 volunteers. our #lostparents campaign aims to raise awareness of the work centres do in keeping children in touch with parents. have a look at our short video above to find out more. -- -- how can contact centres help? a range of services are available depending on your situation and the level of risk… supervised contact, supported contact and handover service what are contact centres like? -- -- is there a potential risk of harm? it is important that your child is safe using our services. if there is a risk of harm to children then a supervised service may need to be used. what contact service do i need? -- -- how are visits arranged? you have to apply to go to a contact centre. this is called a ‘referral’. many centres accept referrals direct, but if you prefer a solicitor, mediator, social worker or cafcass officer can make the referral for you. how do i apply? -- -- where is my nearest centre? find your local centre on our ‘find a centre’ page. contact the centre direct to set up the referral. find your nearest centre services in scotland got a query?
